By now everyone will have received their summer staff applications. If you haven’t please contact me at [email protected] to get a copy. We are praying that the Lord will really bless the activities at our camp sessions. Our directors and speakers are working hard on their programs and messages and we are praying that the Lord will fill camp with young people who need to hear the gospel.
Our theme this year is Rejoicing in Hope, Romans 12:12. As those that have
been redeemed we have much to be joyful about! Not
only have we received eternal life, but have the sure and certain promise that
we will one day be face to face with our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our joy is in Him and our Hope is in Him as well.
In 1Th 2:19 we read, “For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of
rejoicing? Is it not even you in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His
coming?” He is our living Hope, as we read in 1Pe 1:3-4 “Blessed be the God and Father
of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us
again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the
dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade
away, reserved in heaven for you”
If you have received your application but are not
sure where you might want to serve, we have added a short video below that highlights
some of the volunteer positions at camp this summer. Please pray about it and
get your applications in early! And if you can, bring a friend to serve
alongside. All of our volunteers are born again and walking with the Lord. They
must also have a willing servant heart! If that description fits you, we would
love to work alongside of you this year!
