Fall is here and with it many important fall projects, including the Lodge roof. The Lodge is one of the oldest and best loved buildings at camp and is the centerpiece to many of the activities that happen through-out the year. It is used as a dining room, meeting place and games room. The front porch is a great place to hang out with friends and the fireplace is used constantly through the colder months!
We are planning to re-shingle the roof of the Lodge and need your help. This is difficult work but we want to get it completed before the snow begins to fly down here in the valley. We have set aside a couple of weekends to complete the work.
Please reserve the following Saturdays: October 27th, November 3rd and November 10th.
If you can help, please contact Larry Thompson as soon as possible at [email protected] so that we can plan the workload. Also please be aware that there are many times when we love to see kids down here at camp helping with work projects – this will not be one of those times!
Thanks to all for your willingness to help!
